True Beauty

Short Stories, August 2004

So where is love?
Where is this wonderful golden ideal that frames everything in sense?
Somewhere under the flesh perhaps. The reeking, creeping crawling flesh of impulse, emotion and regret. The fragile bag of feelings that traps us, rots all around us, forces us to go on in spite of ourselves. Is this where love lives? is this a fitting home for that little piece of God?
Beauty is only ever in the eyes of its beholder.
We behold each other.
Love is the space between us short sighted two. Love is the glue that stitches beauty together.
